Claire Moore has been infatuated with the Arabian horse from a very young age. Riding lessons started at the age of 7 yrs old but it wasn't until she was 25 that she was able to buy her first horse - an Arabian stallion named Shamali Sahir. Her love of the breed is also shared by husband Mark who has previously worked for many of the industry's leading breeders and trainers. Together they bred a British National winner, Chamin E (El Amin x Marih Loretta) who went on to produce a Vivegas son, named Salvatore E. Now gelded, he and his dam still live with the Moores! Arabian horses have taken her around the world where she has had the wonderful opportunity to photograph these amazing creatures.
Art has always been a major influence in her life, studying GCSE and A Level and then going to college to attain a BTEC Dip in Foundation Art & Design as well as a BSc (HONS) in Design at Hudderfield University.
Combining both her loves is a dream and every day she feels blessed that she can use her creative skills to promote the breed, make wonderful new friends & clients who share her passion, and excite owners with her work.
As well as running Arabian Horse Promo, Claire is also Artistic Editor of the world-wide phenomenon The Arabian Breeders' Magazine. This publication, printed 4 times a year, has grown immeasureably since she took over the role, including winning a Silver Medal from the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championships for the coverage of their event. The magazine is subscribed to by readers in every corner of the globe and continues to grow in popularity with every issue.
She was also appointed Artistic Editor for Europa Miniature Horse Magazine in 2014, a fledgling publication promoting all miniature horse breeds around the world www.europa-magazine.co.uk
Claire's photography has been used in many publications and advertising campaigns including HorseSource's well-known Sea Buckthorn advert and also on the front cover of Tutto Arabi (March 2009) to promote the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championships (both pictured left). She is also heavily involved in helping various Arabian horse societies including sponsorship of the British Amateur Home Produced Arabian Championships, by way of designing and maintaining their site on an annual basis and designing their promotional material, as well as helping in the design of show catalogues for both the Midland Arabian Festival International B Show and South East Arabian Horse Group Summer Show.
